BitTorrent 4.1.1

Bram Cohen heeft een nieuwe versie van zijn BitTorrent-client uitgebracht. Het gaat om versie 4.1.1 en is beschikbaar voor zowel Windows, Mac OS X als Linux. BitTorrent maakt het mogelijk om grote bestanden in kleine stukjes te delen die vervolgens met andere gebruikers gedeeld wordt. Dit betekent dat een download niet compleet hoeft te zijn voordat een ander hetzelfde bestand van jouw kan downloaden. In deze release zien we onder andere diverse verbeteringen aan de trackerless torrent-code terug. Het volledige changelog laat de volgende veranderingen zien:
